Reviewers Wanted: Help Us Explore Stories That Don’t Fade to Black
Every tabletop roleplaying game has rules for combat. Most have pages upon pages explaining how to swing a sword, cast a spell, or survive a dragon’s breath. But when a story turns toward romance, attraction, tension, and intimacy, the rulebook often gives only two instructions: Fade to black. Move on.

That moment—where emotions, vulnerability, and connection enter the story—is usually left unexplored.
Eros Engine™ was created to change that.
It is a system designed to bring structure, safety, and narrative depth to moments of intimacy at the table, the same way traditional RPGs structure combat or magic. It allows Game Masters and players to explore romance, desire, trust, and emotional stakes as meaningful parts of the story.
Now that the Eros Engine™ Core Rulebook is out in the world, I’m looking for thoughtful reviewers who are interested in examining the system and sharing their perspective with the wider RPG community.
What You’ll Receive
Selected reviewers will receive a free digital copy of the Eros Engine™ Core Rulebook.
Inside the book you’ll find:
• A complete RPG system built around narrative intimacy
• Character attributes, skills, perks, and kinks
• The Four Phases framework: Initiation, Escalation, Climax, Aftercare
• Tools for pacing scenes and maintaining emotional safety at the table
• Guidance for integrating the system into other RPGs
The goal is not shock value. The goal is better storytelling.
Who I’m Looking For
I’m especially interested in reviewers who:
• Run tabletop RPGs regularly
• Write or record thoughtful RPG reviews
• Are curious about new approaches to narrative design
• Value mature storytelling and respectful play
Bloggers, YouTubers, podcasters, and long-form reviewers are all welcome.
What I Ask in Return
If you receive a review copy, I simply ask that you:
• Share an honest review or discussion of the book
• Mention that you received a review copy
• Publish your thoughts on your usual platform
Positive or critical feedback is equally welcome. Thoughtful analysis helps the project grow.
